Teleradiology Job FAQs
Will I need NZ Medical Registration?
Yes, via the Special Purpose Teleradiology scope of practice. Approved postgraduate qualification from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, US and Canada qualify.
This form of registration enables you to work for up to 12 months as a diagnostic teleradiologist for a New Zealand-based healthcare provider.
We provide full support with securing medical registration.
How long will it take to get started?
How long will it take to get started?
Not long, at all, roughly two months.
Once a role has been secured, medical registration is processed in just 20 working days. You also won't need a visa to do the Teleradiology work.
Will my indemnity insurance cover me?
Not necessarily. You will need Indemnity Insurance via New Zealand Medical Indemnity Insurance to align with the providers insurer.
What are the minimum hours?
Ideally, a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week for a period of 6 months.
How do I get paid?
You will be paid monthly directly from our client to your bank account. Payment will be in NZD and converted via your bank to your home currency.
